First Words - Wednesday Park Rotation

Service Description

First Words is a program fostering early language development through play and caregiver coaching! This program has a therapeutic focus, so it is a great fit for "late talkers," children who only use a few words, or children who do not consistently combine words to make phrases. All children are welcome regardless of neurotype or developmental skill! Whether you are a parent, grandparent, nanny, or babysitter, you will learn helpful language strategies that you can apply right away. Children are invited to come and play with other children, take turns, problem solve, communicate, develop confidence, and gain independence. INFORMATION: *First Words Park Rotation will be held every Wednesday from June 14th-July 26th @ 1:30-2:30pm. We will NOT meet on Wed, July 5th due to the holiday, but sessions will resume the next week. *Program enrollment fee is $185 for all 6 sessions. *A responsible adult must remain with each child at all times throughout the program. *Space is limited-- we will cap the group at 5 families to ensure safety and individualized attention. *Please bring a water bottle, sunscreen, and snacks each day! *In the event of inclement weather, the session will be rescheduled for a Friday morning, or held at the Zoah Speech & Outreach Clinic - 3265 W. Carefree Circle, Colorado Springs, CO. 80917. You will be notified of this change via email.
